The stuff at the front desk were not very professional, they forget to give us the breakfast coupons and then we had to explain why they have forgotten the coupons, then we had to bargain to get refund for that at the check out. For a hotel that size, it shouldn't happen, for sure not discussing if or not. It's not the money, its principal. Good luck
"Nice hotel close to Red Rock Canyon and shopping"
Contemporary nicely decorated hotel, located close to Red Rock Canyon, which was why I was in Vegas. Also, as a plus, it is close to a nice mall, a bunch of stores and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice.
The hotel lobby and entrance are nice. The elevator and halls were ok but a little dirty. Brass not polished, mirrors smudged etc. The room itself was dated. Furniture looked like it was circa late 80's. The table between the chairs and the desk had water damage. It had caused the veneer to buckle and separate in long strips. There was a huge black mark on the top of the table that looked like something had been wet on it and left a permanent stain. The bath was large but poorly lit and had dated brass fixtures. (The drain plug was broken in the tub and constantly had to be reinstalled). The hotel jumped on the resort fee bandwagon but didn't provide any of the perks other hotels throw in. You still have to pay for internet and no bottled water etc. Those things are included in resort fees and most other resorts in Vegas.
We didn't use the spa facilities so I have no comment on those. Overall this isn't a bad hotel but we stayed a 4 star resort on the strip the first half of the week and it was worlds ahead of this hotel. If you were paying to stay at a cheaper 3 star resort you would expect small things like water damage and unpolished brass and mirrors in elevators. But that's not what this hotel presents itself as.
Great place to stay! The price was reasonable, rooms were very nice and clean, staff was very helpful and nice, as well with the breakfast being well supplied. We would recommend staying here again for any future trips to Las Vegas.

"Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas - Red Rock/Summerli"
Nice location away from the strip.....was a little hard to locate because it is tucked behind some businesses next to an empty lot. The elevator beeps are loud and there is little or no insulation between the rooms. Sound travels easily. The breakfast was acceptable and the staff were very nice. It's about 20 mins from the strip depending on traffic.
Located in the Spring Mountains’ foothills, Summerlin is a planned community once owned by eccentric mogul Howard Hughes. Northwest Las Vegas is a golfer’s haven: about a dozen courses are open to the public. The Las Vegas Art Museum is nearby, as is Red Rock Canyon. Protected from development, the canyon offers spectacular vistas accessible via a 30-mile hiking trail or a 13-mile scenic drive.
