"The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little squeaky but comfortable. Breakfast items were good and fresh. Good variety of foods. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!!"
"The pool was closed for repairs and no where on the site, did it state that. I booked it for the pool specifically. Also, breakfast was served on all styrofoam. Bad for environment. Had to go all over looking for bottle water. Breakfast states until 10 and they were cleaning up before then."
"We had some hiccups that they tried to immediately address when I reported them on Hotels.com, unfortunately the fix wasn’t much better than the problem, but they did try! Instead of the toilet, not being able to flush it made swirling swishing noises every 30 seconds throughout the night, but they did try and they didn’t get approval to go into room till right before five and I assume the maintenance man left at five other than that it is a very nice hotel I guess when I said the toilet wasn’t flushing properly I should have went back down and let them know once again. I do believe it’s a good place to stay. I just don’t think things necessarily fell into place like I hope they would but everyone there was very nice and I do think they’re trying if I was in the area again I would give them another chance."
"Breakfast was non existent; rock solid bakery items and no toaster access along with cold coffee. Staff are useless when you tell them about an issue; they do nothing to try to make something work/right. Outdoor pool was freezing so we tried to go to the indoor pool but it was also not heated, and the hot tub was empty with the grids at the bottom of the tub duct taped."
The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg
6/10 Okay
"Stayed several times over the years. Property is beginning to show signs of wear. Overall, nice property but the FF&E could use replacing. Stayed in suite, but tables and other surfaces scratched or chipped. Paid $18.00 per night to park on top of room rate of $259 ( Expedia). Great view from the 15th floor and extra room was nice. Will probably look around at other options next time. "
