This hotel is a hidden gem. It was the best value for our money so far in our trip! The check-in staff was friendly, the rooms are updated and clean, and there was even a fireplace in the room. One of my favorite things was the bench by the river. So peaceful!

Excellent location especially if you like being near the trail and downtown. The river near the balcony was amazing and the breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We always enjoy staying here. Parking can be a little tight at times and there are cheaper places to stay, but this is well worth the money. We love it.

The Location and price was the reason I stayed, and the continental breakfast. The only problem was the tub was caved in in the middle and water would stay in the middle and it was awkward to stand in. The bed was very comfortable and clean! I would stay there again! My room had a lovely view of the stream/river that flows behind the hotel, I loved that! And all the staff were very helpful. However, the hotel is quite old, esp. the old AC/Heating unit. Although the bed was comfortable, the unit was so very loud every time it stopped and started (which was a lot of times this very hot September) that I barely was able to sleep the whole night. The rooms haven't been updated in decades likely, and the peeling paint and cracks that were visible don't make it easy to relax (will there be bugs???). I was bargain hunting, and had assumed my good price was a result of the post-Labor Day season, but it that wasn't really it.

This property is always very clean with a very friendly staff. The property is renovating the front dear area and breakfast is not available but that will not be for long. I had a great stay as always.
