Bed and Breakfast in St Albans

"The view from the room was outstanding. I had a room with a view of Tower Bridge. The food at the hotel was quite good. If I had to knock anything, it would be two things: The bathroom and the bed area. The bathroom seemed dated. There were no outlets by the bed to plug in to either. I don't know if I've ever seen that before. I'd recommend the hotel, but be aware of what you'll find going in."

"Really enjoyed our two nights in the Thistle Marble Arch, reception was quick and our room on the 6 floor was excellent. Breakfast was good, not happy having to pay for a cup of Starbucks coffee and then to see an added service charge, this needs to stop. Did have an issue with the room toilet not flushing on the second night after 22:00, called reception and a maintenance person came after about 40 minutes and resolved the problem. We did see the card saying if you didn’t want your room cleaned on the second day , put the card on the door, we were told we would get a £10 drinks voucher, this never materialised. We will definitely return to the Thistle in the future."
