It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. Staff was kind and friendly, facilities were a little dated and the lighting inside the room needs updating, pure white light is not the most pleasant, however the traditional Japanese bedroom experience was very cool! Breakfast was also awesome! That alone made this experience super cool!"
