"The staff is friendly, and the hotel provides a washing machine and umbrellas. However, the carpets and facilities are outdated, and there are coffee stains on the walls. The shower leaks into the rest of the bathroom, and the towels are frayed with holes in them. The air conditioner is noisy, and the windows have poor soundproofing, making rainy days extremely loud. Additionally, the hotel policy only provides two complimentary bottles of water on the first day, regardless of my 4-night stay. Given the market rates in Taiwan, this level of quality needs many improve for $90–$100 USD a night."
