"Recently upgraded, everything is fresh and yet still looks like it belongs in this charming town. Room was functional with coffee and small fridge, staff were fantastic and the bar and restaurant was busy and fabulous."

"Grand building, but seems slightly dated and tired. The room was clean enough but had outdated furniture, TV etc. The WiFi was too slow and unstable to be usable, which coupled with the lack of phone signal was quite annoying. Breakfast was chaotic and not up to the standard we would've expected. Lots of guests waited for a long time for coffees, teas etc which didn't arrive. Most of the buffet was empty at middle of service. The spa was quite nice and had a decent pool and sauna. Overall not 5* quality. "

"Lovely room and bed was very comfortable. My only criticism is that there is no shower door which made the floor in the bathroom wet which can lead to slipping. I think maybe a mat would be helpful as I had to use a towel to soak it up "

"The property is a serviced apartment. Unfortunately our check in was delayed and it seems that the cleaners had rushed through the process given that we weren’t even left any hand soap. The cleanliness was questionable and there was a heating issue where we were not able to turn down the heat or open the windows so we were cooked like turkeys by the morning. The location is fantastic tho!"
