"Overall a great place to stay if exploring the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The large bathroom had a walk-in shower and lovely roll top bath. Very cosy bed and good quality linen. Tea, coffee and water tray provided. Some biscuits would have been nice. Negative was the room was very warm and we could not open windows. Excellent breakfast but limited menu in the evening, for example, no chicken dishes for anyone who doesn’t eat red meat or fish. Deserts not home made and clearly...

"Beautiful manor house. The room was good, not to my taste in terms of design (everything brown, photos on the website were showing different designs) but all of good quality. My husband didn't find the pillows comfortable (too big) but it was fine for me. The only inconvenience was that the cooked breakfast takes a long time to wait as you order it, literally like dinner waiting time. We tried to solve that by ordering to the room by a certain time the next day but they still brought it 20min...

It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night. We had to have the windows open quite wide overnight. "
