COVID-19 has triggered big changes to the way we travel. If you're planning a trip to Ile Ste Helene, these tips will help you navigate this new travelling reality:

• Look into the rules and restrictions in both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check government advisories before booking.
• Requirements state that you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to lower your mask for ID purposes when asked by a TSA officer.
• Rather than handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, place it straight on the scanner yourself. Then, hold it up for inspection.
• You're permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on baggage. This will need to be removed for X-ray screening.
• To minimize handling during the screening process, put items such as your phone, wallet and keys into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• Transport your food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping your food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA employee will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.
