"I recently stayed at LHotel and found the experience to be somewhat mixed. The room itself was acceptable, but it felt a bit dated, and I noticed the floors were not as clean as expected. I had also hoped for more original architectural details or design elements that reflected the building’s 1800s heritage, which would have added significantly to the overall charm. There were a few service and maintenance issues that stood out. The towels provided were worn and slightly torn, and there was no liquid hand soap available in the room. Additionally, when I called the front desk to request a fork, I was asked to come down and pick it up myself, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. That said, there were some highlights. The continental breakfast, particularly the chocolatines and coffee, was excellent, and the lobby and common areas are quite impressive and inviting. Overall, I feel that with a bit more investment and closer attention to detail, this hotel has the potential to move from above average to truly excellent."

"Wasn't sure what to expect and had some specific needs. Overall it was a very positive experience, the accommodation was better than I anticipated, excellent location for walking/ shopping/siteseeing, suite layout was very well done and well equipped, staff were all helpful and courteous, excellent continental breakfast. We arrived earlier than expected and anticipated hours before we could check in, but the hotel was able to check us in on arrival with exactly what we needed. I would for sure reserve here again next time I am in Montreal."

"The staff was extremely helpful to us throughout our stay, especially Nicholas at the front desk. The beds are beyond comfortable and the rooms are very nice. We were thrilled we stayed here during our couple days in Montreal. "

"The rooms heat/air conditioner unit is extremely loud. I called, they sent someone up to fix it as it was a known problem. The came and said it was fixed and give it a minute. After 20mins it was just as loud, so i unplugged the unit to be able to sleep. Other than that everything was great. Room was clean, roomy, staff friendly, great location and price was great too. "
