"Very pleased with the hotel as it is in a fab location right in the city heart of Rouen surrounded by the beautiful streets, cafes, bars and shops. The staff were really friendly and accommodating at all times especially helping with my children and making us feel welcome. Our room was comfortable and quiet at night with the window shut, although we didn’t open it for the night we stayed. Definitely recommend and I was fortunate enough to manage a parking space in the underground carpark which was such an added bonus."

"Great location ! The room is very basic, there is no bottle of water in the room. I contact with hotel 10 days before arrival about car parking on the site but they been fully booked, so you need probably to do it in more days in advance."

"Of all the inexpensive hotels we stayed at on our travels, this one was an unexpected joy. Small but very clean room, helpful and friendly check in. We came during an extended heatwave and a brand new oscillating fan was provided (without having to ask). Like most places in France, they is no AC (why?!), and the fan was very much appreciated! No elevator (also a common experience across France) so be ready to climb stairs. Parking in the Cathedral parking garage is super close. Our room faced the cathedral so we did not experience the "hooligans" in the park mentioned by other reviewers. If your TV will not open Netflix or YouTube, you may have to sign in to the wifi first ;). Walkable to many useful places like restaurants, pharmacies, and a cinema Would stay here again."

"Parking was tricky. The hotel is on a small one way street. We were there on VE day and many restaurants were closed. Eating was not as easy as our other hotels. The invasion was a bitter battle and lots of the city was destroyed. Left standing was the famous cathedral, Joan of Arc exhibition and some of the old town. Another reasons to stay here was a Tomas Danbo Troll in a local park. Check to see if it is still there."

"We stayed there with a family of 4 (2 college-age kids.) The kids slept on a sofa bed that pulled out to 2 twin beds. There was enough space in the room. We could walk to everything…especially the lovely pastry shops. We loved exploring the mid-evil streets, eating at Paul’s Brasserie, seeing the beautiful cathedrals, and soaking in the chill vibes of Rouen! The pastries at Bastien were amazing! So amazing, I went back just to get more. We parked our car on-site, which was nice. At only .80 Euros an hour, this was a great value. We drove to Fe Camp to visit with family, and it was a beautiful ride with farms, cideries, and a beautiful coast. (And WWII history.)"
