"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

"Het huisje is aan opfrissing nodig. Ideaal voor 2 personen, zeker als je binnen moet eten is het klein voor 4 personen. Het prachtige is het buitengedeelte fijn terras met overkapping en mooie tuin om te vertoeven bij mooi weer. ( een relaxstoel buiten zou ook een pluspunt zijn). Het huisje is wat vochtig, matras en zetel voelen klam aan, zetel ruikt ook onfris en heeft veel vlekken. De badkamer heeft geen verwarming deze is uitgebroken en staat in de aanpalende slaapkamer, waardoor handdoeken...

"We had a lovely week in this gite in Le Chenai. Jenny was so welcoming and helpful - the bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Jenny's recommendations; particular favourites were le Mont de Cerisy, a ruined chateau with lovely walks (and an amazing display of rhododendrons) and Chateau Ganne a ruined Norman fortress. It was also a perfect base for exploring DDay history and our dog approved of the local walks too. Sally, John & Bailey x"

"Can’t beat the location and well worth paying extra for the sea view. Large comfortable room, good bathroom, some areas in need of a bit of tlc. We didn't try the restaurant but breakfast was very good and with great sea views. Plenty of eating options nearby and also good for shopping."

"Room basic but spacious and clean. The lounge bar wasn’t very comfortable and the drinks were very limited but for an overnight stopover it suited a purpose. The location, maybe if I’d know the region beforehand, would have been off my list. Amongst a new affordable housing area, right next to a prison."
