The interior is small but comfortable with everything you could need. And the location is perfect for exploring Normandy - Beuzeville is a charming village and Honfleur is only 10 minutes away. "Good: bed in master bedroom, new barbecue, sunbeds. Not so good: Damp and musty house. Not as clean as it should have been (interior as well as crockery). WiFi speed 4 Mbps (50 was promised). Flood after heavy rain in scullery. Shower drain blockage. If it would have rained for several days (as it did the weeks before) we would have left earlier. No appologies from the owner/manager after mentioning our issues. Just an explanation that maintenance will be done after the holiday season."

"We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful view of the sea, small garden, parking at the house, just a few minutes walk to the beach. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped for us. Communication with the landlord and the information received beforehand were excellent. The only downside was the double bed on the ground floor. However, the other positive aspects make up for it, so we would gladly come back anytime."

"Myself and two friends found this Barn conversion purely by chance, it was the best place we have stayed at, The host was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, everything was spotless and located in the country side. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and see, just a five minute ride away to all local shops, markets and restaurants. We could not fault this property and the host. 10/10"

Hotel Le Bayeux

10/10 Excellent

"I had seen reviews that the rooms were small. Ours was a nice size and very comfortable. The staff was great, especially the young man at check-in. He was welcoming and helpful with getting around town and finding places to eat. The hotel is close to the cathedral which is a must to see! They do use an old fashioned room key so be sure and lock your room door once inside with the key. Breakfast was really good. It is a quant hotel that we enjoyed and very close, within easy walking to most things. The railroad station is about 12 minutes and a little uphill toward the end, or longer with heavy suitcases. We would stay again."
