"What a great find! Stayed with friends! Great location to the beach, cute coffee shop around the corner. Great outdoor courtyard with grills and heated pool and spa. Kid friendly. The only thing missing is a coffee maker in the room and a propane fire pit would be perfect outside. Will defiantly come back. "

"I booked this hotel specifically because the website advertised it as pet friendly — that was the deciding factor. What I didn’t see anywhere in the listing was any mention of a $100 pet fee for a single night. That’s a significant charge that deserves to be upfront, not buried or absent entirely. I travel with my emotional support animal, and in my experience, most accommodations either waive the pet fee for ESAs or at least have a clear, transparent policy. When I checked in and was told about the charge, I was caught completely off guard. When I explained that my animal is a registered ESA, the front desk staff were polite but firm — no exceptions. The room itself was fine, and the property is clean. But the lack of transparency around fees and the blanket policy that ignores the distinction between pets and emotional support animals left a bad taste. If you’re going to market yourself as pet friendly, at minimum be upfront about the costs. A $100 fee for one night is steep, and finding out at check-in is a frustrating way to start a stay. Travelers with ESAs, take note — call ahead and confirm the fee policy before booking, because “pet friendly” here doesn’t mean what you might expect."

"This place is amazing! Non-stop beach views. Listen to the ocean all day and all night. Beautiful, perfect sunsets every evening. Every room has mermaid accents; adorable, but not tacky. The kitchen was fully stocked, with high end appliances. Open all the windows and sliders if its warm, turn on the fireplace if its cold. This place has everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. I will be returning to this little gem."

"We loved our time at the property. It was clean, well stocked, and exactly as described in the online listing. The proximity to the beach was awesome. Not only is the house dog friendly, but the owner made it welcoming by providing a dog bed, and dog toys. My 13 year old daughter loved having her own space in the loft that was private, but not too far away so she could still be part of the activities. The house is well stocked with games, boogie boards, dishes, and condiments/seasonings. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in the area. This house, and Aptos are both hidden gems ."

"We most definitely enjoyed staying in the house. Location was wonderful cause it was so close to the beach. Very pleasantly surprised to see that there was so many beds in the house. I guess I missed that when I was reading description. And upon arriving, we saw our first sight out of the ocean, which was a couple of orcas, which was amazing. I would definitely recommend this house and I would definitely come back again. I would recommend looking into a new barbecue as it did not light like it should. But other than that, everything was great thank you for our stay."
