"We were warmly welcomed on check in and, at every step of the way, we were made to feel special! The bar tender, Shawn, made some delicious cocktails. The Giotto restaurant on site serves excellent food and has a very good selection of wines. We used the very well appointed spa for added luxury! The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Umbrian landscape, and, at night, the Basilica was lit up like a beacon. The only downside was the air conditioning in the rooms is not allowed be turned on until June- but, keeping the doors open at night cooled the room down and was very comfortable. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable."

"Very helpful staff. We arrived with bus and found out was very far and uphill to walk. Luckily we called the hotel and they send someone to get us there. If your intention is to visit St. Rita, the hotel was right next to the basilic. That was the best part for us."

"We stayed at Casa Mancia for one night, while walking on the Via Di Francisco. It's a nice hotel, beds were comfortable, it was clean, bathroom was nice. We had a simple, but tasty (nice cakes) breakfast in price. I'd say it's a nice place to stay especially if you've got a car. For us - it was a bit far from the city centre (over 20 mins by foot), but still we were happy with our stay in all regards."

"As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby Sangemini for better Italian restaurants and atmosphere. Be sure you’ve well understood directions to villa since GPS misguided couple of us."
