"Super central in Reading... Clean, well-equipped. Lovely little pool and sauna area with pool/gym towels - all free for guests - great to keep the little ones occupied on a rainy day. Parking at the hotel's car park itself is costly at £19/night but they can validate some local multi-story car parks within 7-8 mins walk so not paying more than £7-8. Can also use the hotel car park to drop off luggage but it does take a little while to make your way in. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Nothing was too much trouble. We were staying as a family 16 of us for our mothers funeral and they were kind and welcoming . Breakfast was great - fabulous to have a gluten free section all of its own. Fridge in room was a great feature. Pity it did not contain fresh milk for tea and coffee. Better for the environment than the little plastic containers - which you need two of for each cup of tea/coffee. The restaurant Food was good - although a little over priced. "

"Travelling for work I booked a single room for less than the local Travelodge. The grounds and main hotel are lovely and it was a delight to see the deer, ducks and other wildlife on the grounds. The room itself was away from the main building but was recently decorated, clean and welcoming. "The George Hotel was a great place to stay for my son's wedding at Fison Barn, Little Whittenham. We stayed for two nights and wished that we had booked for longer.
