Fabulous spot for a working retreat
What a gem of a beachfront property - the photos really didn'tdo it justice! Our stay here was absolutely fabulous. The bach was warm and cosy and the views were stunning. The cleanliness and tidiness were impeccable, and the beautiful artwork added a touch of charm to the space. Getting to the property was a breeze, and having plenty of dining options within walking distance was a huge plus. Despite being conveniently located, the area was super quiet, which made it the perfect spot for a working holiday. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a tranquil beach getaway. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a wonderful retreat.!

Perfect location and ideal bach
Wow, what a place! It has it all- location right on the sea for the perfect views and beach time. Gorgeous bach with everything you could ever want. Fantastic gardens front and back for dining or coffees in the sun. And being able to bring our dog was a bonus!

A perfect absolute beachside pad with epic views from every room. Everything you might need (and forgot to bring) is provided, the beds are comfy and warm, and there are several living and dining areas inside and outside to make the most of the weather and the view. And the decor is just gorgeous.

Brilliant!
This is our second visit for a special birthday celebration! Such a beautiful quaint cottage right on the beach overlooking Kapiti Island. A short walk to Raumati South Village. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Only issue was that wi-fi log-in information supplied beforehand was out of date. Visitors can't be expected to see updated information on the fridge. So time was wasted achieving the log-in.Managed to log-in by looking at details on router, and only later saw notice on fridge.

A piece of paradise
It exceeded out expectations! So beautifully presented and so comfortable. Perfectly positioned to watch the ocean and great privacy. All left re-energised and feeling that we had been away for much longer. An incredible find. Will return.

The perfect holiday spot
Absolutely loved staying here, being so close to the beach was ideal with our kids, and there was a hose handy to wash off after. The Bach was so clean, and had a very considered feel - every need thought of. The heat pump was great, really appreciated having linen provided, enjoyed walking to Raumati village for Louis Sergeant macarons. David was such a warm friendly host. Highly recommend

Styly art adorned beach bach with the ocean at our door. Loved exploring the coast & parks with our dog. Lots of eating options nearby but loved hanging out at the bach with its cosy quirky vibe. Will be back when the weather's warmer to enjoy all the outdoor spaces.

Magic stay
This bach is absolutely gorgeous. Right on the beach front. Beautiful linen and spotlessly clean. Wonderful magazines and books to keep us occupied as well. Beautiful sun and great tables to sit at - especially at the entrance where there is also a good BBQ and lots of seating. Very sheltered and quiet. We were allowed to bring our 2 labs and they loved it! Thank you David and Clare.

This property was the perfect base, as we helped our daughter prepare for her wedding, in Waikanae and Paekakariki. It was incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beach nearby and the sunsets were spectacular.

Lovely little beachfront place!
Super easy to find and lovely to find somewhere that takes dogs as Rumati area is fab for walks. Very cosy, plenty warm enough due to being fully double glazed throughout (hard to find in this part of the world!!) and we’ll certainly be back.

Awesome View
As soon as we parked we could see the awesome view. Everyone took a deep breath and we could enjoy the time as a family away from the buz. The bach were neat and tidy and had a good holiday vibe and a ocean feel. Kids and our dog were able to just pop down to the beach and we could keep an eye on them. Really enjoyed the stay!

Have returned here many times. It is an amazing spot to relax and unwind. Love having the sea at the bottom of the garden. The addition of double-glazing has made the property even more snug! Super comfortable bed and so wonderful to wake to the sound of the waves breaking. The seat facing Kapiti Island draws you in and before you know it you've spent 1/2 an hour mesmerised by the view!

Walked through the door and stood just looking at the view. Lovely batch with everything you need, off the road so it’s quiet meaning you go to sleep to the sound of the waves. 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to shops for a good coffee. Great place to relax. Clean and tidy.

Great place to stay, and has everything you need while you are away. A 5minute walk along the beach, to the waterfront bar and restaurant, and Rosetta café in the opposite direction. Extremely well equipped warm classic bach with all the mod cons like dishwasher and good water pressure! Very clean and tidy. Lots of different places to sit inside and out. Comfortable beds with gorgeous linen. Perfect location with beautiful views and walking distance to shops. David is a great communicator and so willing to please.
