"This could be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately the facilities are very lacking. This hotel doesn’t serve lunch or evening meals as they don’t have a chef yet. As this place is a bit out of the way it wasn’t what we were expecting. We had paid for 2 nights but left after 1. We booked a deluxe room with garden view. Deluxe it definitely was not. The shower cubicle had the previous guest hair on the walls. Not for us and we wouldn’t return. Could be a fabulous place. Hats off to the guy running...

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."

"The room was spacious, well presented and clean. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Overall a friendly and nice place to stay with some character and charm to it. It was nice to see an old fashioned open coal/wood burning fireplace in use,even some of the regulars there kept it topped up,not just the staff. The breakfasts were lovely."
