"We enjoyed our relaxing spa weekend away at Schloss Roxburghe. We stayed in one of the cottages. Very cosy, very clean. However there were factors that could have been improved such as service from staff being relatively poor and check in and check out times are transient. Apart from these minor issues, there is nothing major to complain about this hotel. Would visit again! "

"Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. "Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall."
