"The restaurant staff was phenomenal. Check-in went very smoothly however we were staying in the penthouse. The most expensive room on the property with the taxes were almost as much as the actual stay, the keys to the outer doors did not work and we were locked in for the evening and the desk closed. To be fair it was very late, however, there should’ve been a way to reach someone on the property to let them know we couldn’t leave the top floor Also, the air-conditioning units were not working. The hotel itself is stunning. It was worth the stay for the gorgeous architecture, well appointed renovations and charming breakfast without standing staff and beautiful veranda."

"I chose the Liodoro because I wanted to stay in the city center to see what Catania had to offer. It was great walking around and taking in some of the sights. Plenty of restaurants and shopping were within a 15 minute or less walk. And only 3.9 miles from the airport. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had an issue with the air conditioner but it was somewhat resolved. Since the room was really large with very high ceilings, the room did not cool down as much as we would have liked. I would also recommend having an iron in the room and maybe a few bottles of water in the mini fridge. I had never stayed in an Airbnb or hotel where the checkout time was before 11:00 am so I thought 10:30 was a little early. The customer service was efficient and it was easy to reach someone with questions. They also allowed us to come early and use the lobby to store our luggage."

"The check in process was simple and friendly.Valentina was very cordial and spoke both Italian and English very well.The hotel was a boutique hotel and was filled with old world charm. Valentina booked us a Godfather tour which was amazing. The bar was in the lobby and was well stocked and close to the outside garden so we could sit and unwind after a day of siteseeing . Our room had a stocked mimibar with reasonable prices. Antonio also booked us a taxi to take to our next destination which took pressure off us trying to find a ride. Overall the staff,amenities and embiance were top notch. Ted"

"Room was cleaned and well stocked with furniture and bathroom amenities. Outdoor court yard was always dirty and full of plant/leaf clusters on the ground. Tables were untidy with other guests belongings such as glassware, ash trays used etc. Building is on the older, vintage side but that gives it character and the "feels" of Italy. Great breakfast options, fresh and stocked."

"The location was excellent and made it very easy to explore the area on foot. The apartment was spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always easy to reach whenever we had questions. Communication was quick and smooth throughout our stay. Although we only stayed one night, we truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for the great hospitality!"
