"It was my son's birthday and the staff was extra kind. We loved the room with the view. The only bummer was that the hot tub wasn't working in February 2026 and the pool was cold. We did like playing in the game room and the proximity to the art museums."

"Once you realized there is a kiosk for check-in, this is done quickly. The lobby was nicely done. The room is compact but adequate. The mattress was better than average (but could be better). The pillows were very nice. The shower was easy to enter, and the flow and temperature were easy to control. Everywhere it was clean. The windows were double glazed and kept out most of the street noise. There's a decent restaurant two blocks away (Berghoff's) and a quickie (McDonald's) two blocks the other way. Although we didn't use it, the hotel has parking arrangements with a deck two blocks south. We plan to stay here again next time we're in Chicago."

"The room was great, staff were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment (for the kids, at least) was that the hot tub was out of order all weekend, and the pool was closed Monday. But it didn't ruin our weekend by any means."
