The hotel was clean but kind of outdated. This was a good place to stay for the price and it was basic accommodations. I didn’t check out the breakfast so not sure about that. I stayed 4 nights and for some reason I had to go to the front desk for a new card each night, which was very inconvenient. Overall, you can stay here for the low or go across to the casino hotel for quadruple the amount, which is way too much for the south suburbs of Chicago.

The room itself was fine. It smells great and there wasn’t a lot of noise. My reason for giving four stars is because when you needed anything from the front desk, there wasn’t anyone there and it would take forever to get what you need. It would serve them well to have two people behind the front desk. Also, there is no elevator and my friend was on crutches. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay.

It would not be a place that I would really stay in again they could still do some more updates as far as their furniture bedding comforter had some stains , better breakfast, tub handle I believe had mold/ or grime didn’t feel comfortable with using, soap for bathing, they need a elevator grateful was able to get a room on the 1st floor me and my husband would have had a hard time, bed was comfortable not so much the pillows, no kind of smell of cleaning. It would really be a last option if in need of a place again for traveling

Good Points: The staff was very helpful & pleasant. The room looked clean and structurally safe. Bad Points: All the hotel smelled strongly of something akin to axe bodyspray. The smell was chemical. Perhaps the best that could be said is; we were unable to smell/immediately detect the reason behind the smell. We were coming from days of no power. My partner has a broken leg and is coming off chemo. This was unworkable situation.

First thing you'll notice are the smelly carpets in the hallway. It's a "no dog" hotel but smells like a dog kennel. We didn't find insects or hair but it does give off that unclean vibe. At least the beds were comfortable. Breakfast consists of bread slices and coffee.
