"We had issues with our room. The tv had black lines running down the screen so the kids didn’t enjoy watching the tv. Aldo the phones were down so in order to get any service we had to go to reception. When we told the lady at reception regarding the phones she very rudely told us that we had to use whatsapp to request services such as room service or anything. When i told her I didn’t have the app so what could i do she said well i can’t help you then. We dealt with it for 2 days. On the third day we found a roach it the bathroom. Needless to say we did not have a good experience here. Even though we were moved to a different room after it still soured the experience for us. Other than that the pool was nice but closes at 8pm daily. The food at the buffet is was average. Definitely book the restaurants instead if you can find a reservation available. "

"Overall the property is well kept considering the finished wood stairs and rafters. All the staff are very courteous, kind, and helpful. We had almost left some personal items in the room and just 5 mins after checking out, we were informed that we left items in the cooler. We were able to go back to the room to recover our items. The resort is certainly a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for the kids all day, inside kids club as well as outside kids club. The room was serviced everyday with fresh towels and bedding. Beach resorts tend to have sand everywhere but Marival somehow kept it free of sand after our room was serviced. Reasons I don’t give 5 stars: rooms are very small. No fresh fruit in any of the bars/drinks. All the Chicken taste like a freezer. Pizza place only open for dinner. Lack of protein options for breakfast."

"The breakfast in the morning was nice to have. Would have loved a little more variety with the hot menu items. The staff were generally great but one or two were a little aggressive when we didn’t understand what the expectations were. Like not being served coffee after having been seated for a while so we thought we could serve ourselves just like with the food. Also, not very clear what could be ordered (we saw a lot of tables getting bacon and bottled waters only to find out that those were extra)."

"We had a wonderful stay at UNICO 20°105° in Riviera Nayarit. The resort is clean, modern, and beautifully designed. The spa was absolutely fabulous, and the rooftop deck offered breathtaking views—perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. A highlight of our stay was the tequila tasting with Gustavo, which was both fun and informative, and water aerobics with Natalie, who brought great energy. The service throughout the resort was outstanding—Eugene, David, Betza, and Carlos were consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We also loved the casino night and live music, which added to the fun atmosphere. A special thanks to Elmer and Angel at the concierge desk—they were always available, incredibly helpful, and made reservations and activities effortless. The location is excellent, close to both a local market and a mall, making it easy to explore. We would absolutely return and highly recommend UNICO 20°105° for a relaxing and memorable getaway. "
