"Todo el hotel está muy bien, pero los meseros de los restaurantes no tienen ni la más mínima atención y muy mal servicio. Si vas en plan todo incluido, “se esconden” de uno. También se me hizo muy malo que cobraran $200 pesos para ingresar al gimnasio. Las instalaciones están bien, la comida es buena a secas, el spa se me hizo de precio accesible y de buen nivel. Fuera del mal servicio en todos los restaurantes, y del hecho que alguien defecó en la alberca y estuvo cerrada casi todo un día; el hotel está bien."

"I will start with the negative and end with the positive. Construction is way more than it was led to be. It’s advertised as closing in July for full renovation. There was no warnings when booked that there was major construction going on at this time. The day is full of construction noise and jack hammering of removing the patios of a section of the building and construction noise going on from 7:50am to 6-7 pm 7 days a week . They put on loud music in the morning by the building under construction at 8 am to try and tone down the sounds. . Alarms go off during the early hours between 2-3 am 7 -8 am every night . Pool decks are not very clean compared to other resorts I have been to . Maybe better maintained after renovations. I visit Mexico 4 times a year for 10 days at a time. Drinks could be better and more higher end liquor options for this resort level. There is some to choose from . Staff are amazing . Very friendly and willing to talk with you and get to k none you and remember your drink choices and always asked if you needed anything new drink. I liked that you can get as many towels you need by just giving room number. The lady at the towel hut was super friendly . Restaurant managers and staff always remembered my name and was super friendly. We met the operations manager and he always came to say high when we saw him and asked if we needed anything. He sent us chocolate covered strawberries and other goodies to our room . Food was good . I would try again"

"Only great things to say! We stayed for part of our trip of our honeymoon, and wish we could have stayed here longer. We had the king bed, with the swim up pool, and it was awesome. Big bathroom, spacious room, semi private pool/ patio area. The restaurants were awesome, Lia being our favorite! The menus were elevated and the drinks were good! Music at the main pool everyday, without being overwhelming. This isn’t your huge party hotel, but perfect for nice relaxing time, without getting bored! ALL the staff was helpful and always addressed us by name. Eduardo was our “host” & I can’t say enough good things about him. He helped with all reservations & sent daily activities hosted by the resort and made sure we were taken care of. I know they’re a newer hotel, but take the chance and see for yourself! We will absolutely be back!"

"The hotel is outdated and old. There is no air conditioning in the lobby. The young lady at the desk was great. The older lady is rude and did poorly at explaining a room charge and accused me of being mad when I questioned my charge. It served its purpose of needing a room overnight. Outside of that I would not recommend."

"We loved this two bedroom condo with an amazing pool on the Fonte property. Guillermo was an excellent host and addressed any issues that we had. The staff was welcoming and available. The directions in regard to the Mayan Palace property were a little confusing. There are two payments to be made. One for transportation on the shuttle to and from the condo to the Maya Palace and another fee to use the facilities at the Maya Palace. Once we got that understood and sorted out things were smooth. As it turns out our two grandchildren loved staying at the condo and swimming in the enormous pool. It wasn’t crowded at all. Everything was very clean. Towels were provided. We had a car so going off property to eat wasn’t really a problem but for those who prefer to cook at home, there is no oven. There is a microwave and a cooktop and a small toaster oven. There is a full-size refrigerator. I would recommend you stop at a Solano’s or Walmart to get groceries prior to arriving at the property."

"Updated - had money go missing from my room, poorly handled by staff and refused to call police. Karen was absolutely useless to deal with today despite being helpful before. First day and a half was fine until the cleaning person came to clean the room and sprayed the tile floor with what I thought was cleaning solution but was told later it was perfume. I was told the floors were still wet because the AC was on. And the humidity was the issue. Well I turned the AC off 10 hours prior and the floors were not wet until they sprayed the floors. One lady at the counter told me it was my fault for having the AC on, then when I told her it was off. She told me that was also the issue. The manager quickly corrected the issue and moved me to a different room. The room was a slipping risk for 7 hours. I was also told I should have opened the window, but not for too long. Perhaps if you didn't spray liquid all over the entire tiled room to begin with, there wouldn't have been a hazard. Yet I was somehow to blame for the entire rooms floors still being wet. I slipped and almost fell several times, and even with sandals on moving into the next room I slipped twice. I'd like to know the science behind how it is both the AC being on and also the fault of it being off. Hotel is great, and the staff has been amazing up until this interaction. Basically one person getting involved with the conversation Iwas having with the first person at the counter made the situation worse. Karen had it ha"
