"We just went for a long weekend and it was perfect. It was just my 5 year old and I with the intention to relax and not worry about anything for a few days. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted warmly and taken to our private transportation. We arrived to the hotel and while I'm bilingual (much more fluent in English), I decided to try to stick to Spanish on the trip. However, it was great that the staff were all bilingual because my son only speaks English. They made him feel important and were all super friendly and helpful any time we interacted - the front desk, concierge staff, everyone. We were informed of the layout, our dining options, how to plan activities/excursions, things going on at the hotel, etc. Basically anything we would need while there, they were there to help which was very comforting. The room was clean. It was my birthday and they adorned my door which was a cool surprise. They also brought me a cupcake which my son appreciated because he loved that they did something special for me. Christi at the towel kiosk was super helpful every day and it was nice to be welcomed by her as we started our day at the pools. The pools were all great - clean and great options for kids. We have done many international trips in my sons' short life so far but I can tell this place will always have a special place in his heart. He was very disappointed to leave so I may have promised we'd go back even if it's just for a long weekend :) "

"First of all, check-in. The very first day that we arrive Mexico. As the shuttle supposed to come and pick us up to take us to the resort which is booked with Expedia and paid 160$ already , I was gone at the proper spot with the grey line to ask them to take us to the resort that person check everything and ask us that we supposed to go to a different resort as when I initially booked Expedia give this option to change vacation or fully refund till march 12 and so I change my booking with different resort. Expedia allow me and refund me the resort after I easily changed my booking. As it was all inclusive vacation and everything comes under one package I assume that everything going to be changed the same thing as my airline tickets my shuttle and my resort everything booked with Expedia, It’s supposed to change everything by itself, but it did not happen so the guy at the airport asked me to pay more as the resort is now on different location as I check on my map it’s actually same in hotel zone but anyway I have to pay $40 US for change the resort. second thing when I reached the resort, Expedia did another thing just to change the resort . They change everything. I don’t know how it happened that it’s supposed to be four people family they only booked for two people room so the resort was asking me to pay them $457 for my kid as But my air ticket was booked with Expedia and all info was there for 4 of us booked resort was so nice very clean. I want to write more no space"

"Overall the property is well kept considering the finished wood stairs and rafters. All the staff are very courteous, kind, and helpful. We had almost left some personal items in the room and just 5 mins after checking out, we were informed that we left items in the cooler. We were able to go back to the room to recover our items. The resort is certainly a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for the kids all day, inside kids club as well as outside kids club. The room was serviced everyday with fresh towels and bedding. Beach resorts tend to have sand everywhere but Marival somehow kept it free of sand after our room was serviced. Reasons I don’t give 5 stars: rooms are very small. No fresh fruit in any of the bars/drinks. All the Chicken taste like a freezer. Pizza place only open for dinner. Lack of protein options for breakfast."

"We had a wonderful stay at UNICO 20°105° in Riviera Nayarit. The resort is clean, modern, and beautifully designed. The spa was absolutely fabulous, and the rooftop deck offered breathtaking views—perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. A highlight of our stay was the tequila tasting with Gustavo, which was both fun and informative, and water aerobics with Natalie, who brought great energy. The service throughout the resort was outstanding—Eugene, David, Betza, and Carlos were consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We also loved the casino night and live music, which added to the fun atmosphere. A special thanks to Elmer and Angel at the concierge desk—they were always available, incredibly helpful, and made reservations and activities effortless. The location is excellent, close to both a local market and a mall, making it easy to explore. We would absolutely return and highly recommend UNICO 20°105° for a relaxing and memorable getaway. "

"Underground parking available. Very nice rooftop pool with adjacent bar I didn’t see mentioned in reviews. Great for families. Huge sandy, smooth, well-groomed beach. Very gradual and shallow slope, no weeds or rocks. Room was clean, staff very friendly. Food selection could be improved somewhat, but was still good. Great hamburger snack area right on the beach. Not crazy about the plastic reusable cups for drinks. Very quiet at night. True that lots of the patrons were Mexicans…not a problem at all. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. Lots of kids with parents and extended family. Would go back again. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed the location of this building as it was close to some good restaurants and bars and yet was very quiet. The rooms were clean although we would consider it an older more tired accommodation. Some things to point out that we think would be improvements would be reading lamps and side tables in the sitting area, better water pressure in the shower and mattresses that are less firm. We thought the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was great to have a big balcony to sit on so that we could have a wonderful view of the harbour and its activities. Everyone was very respectful of others. We would consider this accommodation to be about a 3 star. It suited us very well all being said. The lighting though is a big thing for us, overhead lights don't really do it for us."
