The television has surround sound which presented a slight issue for me, but I contacted the owner and he immediately responded to resolve my issue. "Just a few minutes walk to the riverfront with a beautiful view of the NY skyline. Over all a great stay, will recommend! Stayed here with 3 adults and 3 kids aged 1,3 & 5. "We stayed over Christmas and it was a great location. Only one block off the Main Street but no excessive noise issues. Nice radiator heat so the apartment was toasty. Easy access as there is an elevator and a washer and dryer in the basement. Very spacious for a one bedroom. AJ was very responsive to our messages. Will book again when back in Hoboken."

"Offering a fantastic view of the New York skyline from New Jersey, the easy bus links allowed us to see the city, augmented with the occasional Lyft and Uber. The communication with the host was great, and he was very flexible with arrangements. The stairs only access to the property was not ideal but really not a great problem, seeing how New York involves a lot of walking anyway. "The property was very clean and well maintained. It met all our expectations. Was great for our family (two adults, two teens). The neighbourhood looks a little gritty initially but a little exploration reveals its quite safe and a very strong Latino presence. Lots of interesting restaurants, particularly on Bergline Avenue. Groceries, banks, drug stores etc all there as well. Spectacular views of Manhatten if you go around the corner and down 60th or 61st streets towards the Hudson River....

He never revealed the address, but told me to lie and say that I was staying with someone else - so I was able to get the keys when I arrived. The other person, Michell, hadn’t moved out!! And then James stopped returning my calls. Fortunately, I was smart enough to pay using American Express and was able to get my money back!"
