"Made to feel very welcome. Lovely fresh, clean room with a comfortable bed and good quality linen, which always aids a good night's sleep. Also huge bath towels which I love. Good selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk provided, which was nice. There were also some sweet treats and a tourist map provided in the room, which was very useful. "Breakfast excellent so it was confusing that the lunch menu and food was poor. Hotel looks lovely and staff were great. Small attic room up several flights of stairs and no lift to assist with heavy luggage resulted in sore backs! "
