All of the staff from the reception team to the breakfast team bar team and room cleaning team were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and quiet with plenty of tea/coffee/milk/ biscuits for our 1 night stay. We really enjoyed having use of the pool/steam room/sauna and jacuzzi. Especially adults gaving use of it for an hour before children were allowed in. Definitely would stay there again.

Very happy with our stay. Family room was comfortable. Lovely pool area, although having earlier children swim would have been good. Waiting till 9am with a 3 year old was tricky! Nice breakfast. Is stay here again.

Fantastic stay! They were really helpful and accommodating! Huge thank you to the gentleman on reception (I didn’t catch him name) but he was so kind and made sure my stay was the best! Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again.

All staff were friendly and polite. There were a nimber of staff who went above and beyond, cant fault the staff in anh way. Main Hotel is jndertaking a spruce up, all clean and functioning just a little dated. Outside main Hitel, the facade and entrance could do with a revamp.

I’ve stayed here before and I have to say the property has degraded considerably. The mattress was terrible in the room leaving both my wife and I with sore backs and hips. The ‘Spa’ pool, sauna, jacuzzi, etc were tired and lacking cleanliness. The changing rooms were dirty and showing their age as well as water damage to metal furnishings. The lack of items in the room like a fridge or even basic wash items such as a shower cap, cotton bud etc were noticeable by absence. Overall I wouldn’t come back as it was lacking in the basics of cleanliness and hygiene as well as other things I’d expect as complimentary of a Spa Hotel - like a decent bed.

Am impressed with my stay

I was really impressed with my stay. My room was spacious, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom shower was excellent. If you are tempted to stay, ignore any negative reviews as it's really nice here. I didn't hear any other guests moving around. I used the spa facilities twice and found everything clean and tidy. The pool is small but was adequate for a decent swim. I will definitely return.

A very nice stay.

A very pleasant stay the setting in the middle of a golf course means you are surrounded by countryside and away from the roads. We had a evening meal which was excellent and plenty of it. I can imagine it will be busy at weekends but certainly the 2 nights we stayed it was ok so there was plenty of parking. A plus for us was we didn't see any dogs in the hotel.

Lovely quiet location. Didn’t have breakfast but the dinner night before was lovely. Clean large room. Lovely shower. The only reason I wouldn’t give it top marks is because it had 2 of my pet peeves .. Firstly no plug socket next to bed .. and secondly i hate fixed shower gel bottles when its difficult to dispense! Other than those minor annoyances, it was a great stay.

Das Hotel liegt in einer schönen Umgebung. Das Personal war sehr nett & freundlich. Der 9Loch Golfplatz war gut, zum Teil anspruchsvoll. Die Einfahrt durchs Tor, der Weg entlang des Golfplatzes, verspricht einen schönen Aufenthalt. Aber: Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Der Hoteleingang ist alt, Lobby (fast) nicht vorhanden. Das Personal dafür sehr nett & hilfsbereit. Vieles im Hotel ist abgenutzt & speckig. Die Teppiche im Hotel abgeranzt & mufflig. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad war neu renoviert, sauber & schön. Das restliche Zimmer leider nicht. Vieles war abgenutzt, kaputt und speckig. Der abgelaufene Fußbodenteppich verströmte einen muffligen Geruch. Das Bett (NICHT das Bettzeug) war alt und total abgenutzt. Der Wasserkessel siffig & kalkig. Der Rahmen vom Spiegel löste sich, die Bilder im Zimmer wellig und schmutzig. Die Möbel scheinen aus der Zeit gefallen zu sein. Die Sportsbar war geschlossen. Ebenso waren ALLE Aufzüge außer Betrieb. Der Billardtisch stand auf dem Flur und war somit nicht nutzbar. Die Decke im Flurgang war kaputt und offen, die Kabel hingen heraus. Die Fotos auf den versch. Portalen vermitteln einen fast luxuriösen Aufenthalt, aber der ist leider falsch. Zum Teil sind die Fotos von einem anderen Best Western! Zum Beispiel der Haupteingang sieht ganz anders aus als auf den Fotos bei Trivago. Ob die Fotos vom Spa richtig sind, wissen wir nicht. Wir waren nicht im Spa-Bereich.

Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay

We had a lovely relaxing stay and had plenty of time to enjoy the nice pool. The bed was large and very comfortable so slept well. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t overly tempting for a vegetarian. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.
