It’s easy to get the ferry to Dartmouth where there is a lot going on and some excellent restaurants. We enjoyed our visit to Greenway. Would highly recommend the retreat for a relaxing stay."

"We had a very enjoyable stay in Chapel House. The house is a great place to relax and take in the wonderful views over the river. It is well equipped with comfortable beds & sofas. There are some great walks from the house with Dartmouth just a short ferry ride away. Very good breakfasts available 2 mins down the road at Ebb & Flow. Netflix was an added bonus."

"The property was ideally placed with a fantastic view from all windows. The walk into town was easy and took approx 10 mins and the lack of parking at the property was not a problem. We found on street parking approx 5 minute walk away. I would suggest that check in instructions include the fact that the key safe immediately on the RHS of the door is no longer in use and the current one is attached to the adjacent wall. It would have saved a bit of hassle!"

"We were a group of rowing friends coming to an event on the Dart. The house was absolutely perfect, clean, fresh, well equipped for meals at home, easy to walk into town and beautifully presented. There was a decking area at the from that caught the morning and evening sun and we sat out around the outside table. It was a perfect stay."

"A beautiful, relaxing stay between Christmas and New Year. The house was decorated just right. We've visited now during three seasons and each has proved wonderful. With crazy weather, it was terrific to have the ferries so close. I love going round the house looking at the pictures, ornaments and soft furnishings. The house was lovely and warm throughout the stay"

"My daughter snd I stayed for two nights at this delightful property. The ferry is close by, and it was very easy to find once we’d crossed over from Dartmouth. It was very, very quiet, which we loved and we heard beautiful birdsong in the mornings. Place is cute and cosy, and we had all the amenities we needed. A short walk away is a “general “ shop. And also within quick walking distance are two pubs with great food. The wee private garden was wonderful, as well. Would definitely come back!"

"I stay away 3/4 times a month with work and had I not been dining with suppliers locally would probably have missed this gem. They moved breakfast forward 20 minutes to allow for an early departure for me and what a breakfast! The fresh fruit, eggs benedict and the banana/strawberry smoothie were all 10/10 whilst I had a superb view over the harbour. The fresh milk and drinks in the room was also great, along with the shortbread biscuits. But the highlight for me was the bed. I intended to watch...
