"Lovely spacious barn conversion in a quiet rural location within easy reach of beaches and eateries. The only downside was that all bedrooms are accessed by stairs which was a struggle but manageable for my elderly father. Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would very much recommend."

"Our 3rd stay with Peggy at Brambles, we booked extra nights as it is such a gaven. The accommodation is better than described , very comfortable and for a family it’s a five star hotel but the freedom of self catering. Lots of lovely walks nearby and close to Thurieston beach and hope cove so plenty of walks , great food and accessible beaches nearby. Peggy is so welcoming and nothing is to big an ask ! Looking forward to our next stay !"

The village was very quaint and the village shop was run by very friendly ladies. Plenty to do and see in the area and would recommend the round robin tour which includes a steam train,riverboat and bus ride."

"We were a group of 2 families at the cottage for a week and had a good holiday inspite of the weather being wet throughout. There were couple of issues with the internet and electric fuse which was promptly sorted by the owner, however took almost a day to sort. The internet becomes a very critical aspect of the stay since there is no phone network available in this area. "Great place for the family, our 5-yr old loved the stairs and having his own bathroom! Nicely equipped kitchen, and room for the grandparents to visit. We even cooked, which we don't usually do on vacation! Enjoyed the games rooms and pool too. Only thing missing was a wood burning stove! Loved it, will definitely recommend it"
