"Faultless stay! Lovely calm location, very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Home away from home! I cannot stress how wonderfully clean it was, with excellent facilities. Very comfy bed, great shower! I enjoyed being welcomed back by a very sweet little black cat every evening! Lovely walks to the beach right on the doorstep. We will definitely be staying here again, would 100% recommend."

"We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout."

"I had a 4 night break to explore the countryside in South Devon and Malborough is close enough to the sea to be able to walk there without needing a car which I wanted and it is near a bus stop so you can go by train which I did. You can see some of the more out of the way places by foot which are not commercialised and there are plenty of footpaths and lanes to get around. there are a lot of options for walking and day trips.I had a single room which was economical with a newly refurbished bathroom. There was some traffic noise as I had a bedroom in the front."

"Pipers Cottage was perfect for us - 8 people (4 adults and 4 children) and the accommodation was so well suited to our needs. The beds were super comfortable - we all slept soundly each night in our bedrooms and the downstairs was also very spacious. But the highlight was the use of the boat and kayaks when the tide came in the Creek. Rob and Sian (the owners) were so kind and thoughtful during our stay and even offered us a free extra night at the end of our week long rental and a late checkout (knowing how logistically tricky it can be to leave at 10am with children!) Thank you so much Rob and Sian.I cannot recommend Pipers Cottage more - the location and aspect are really special. "
