"Lovely boutique style hotel quirky decor communal areas very nicely designed. Our room on the ground floor was small with the wash basin in the bedroom not in the bathroom. Towels changed and house keeping done daily. Lovely dining room the Full English Breakfast was good although a little pricey. No evening meals. The bar area and lounge was welcoming and comfortable. The outside area inc swimming pool was not in use, possibly too early in the season (11 - 15 May). A few parking space’s are available at the back of the hotel, first come basis. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Ewan who was very attentive during our 4 night stay Ideal location for getting to Shanklin’s beach front esplanade and to Shanklin old town with its small local shops,pubs and cafes."

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful area. It has a cosy feel, with all a family needs for a relaxing stay. Perfectly located, with lovely walks along the coast. I cannot recommend this cottage enough."

"Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy."

"We had a really lovely stay at the apartment. The bedroom and living room have big windows looking over to the sea. We listened to the waves when we went to sleep at night. Although it is within walking distance of Ventnor town we ate at the sea front restaurants and bars each night which were less than 2 minutes walk away, as was the beach.It is a great location."

"Lovely little cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay, very quiet. We parked in the wheelers car park. Walk down to the sea is down steps and about 10 minutes walk along to the main beach with a few cafes and restaurants. Overall very comfortable and nice to be able to walk to a tesco and a few shops."

"Excellent layout /design/position/ brilliant showers. bed/bedding/towels etc wonderful. Very comfortable and relaxing. Lovely local walks. Great garden for dog too. ( Definitely a must do place. Naturally there are few things that it might be helpful for the owner to know ......Hot tap in ensuite knocks/ sofa not in tv watching position/ loose back leg on sofa ( perhaps because it gets moved) / cracked milk jug on arrival so used gravy boat/ gate is dropped and so difficult to secure/ kitchen scales would have been helpful. Nice and warm but I guess might get very warm in summer. Still really top notch!)"

"The single room was much smaller than we imagined, it was very poorly lit and laid out. We would sum it up by saying it was adequate and not uncomfortable but didn't wow us in any sense!"
