"Sea Grove was the perfect place to stay in Ventnor. The place was only a short walk from the gardens (highly recommend the putting) and around a 10 minute walk to the beach. It was nice and quiet there with plenty of space and parking! Would definitely stay there again when visiting Ventnor. However, they do not provide towels so make sure to bring some as we didn't!"

Parking is avaliable and hotel ideally situated for walking to the Botanic Gardens and Steephill Cove. The Owner and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. "This flat is lovely, clean, light and airy. The location is fantastic - just swimsuit on and walk straight down to the beach! The flat had everything we needed. I chose this location for speedy access to the beach, buses to elsewhere on the Island, and food shops - all really close. For swimmers I recommend checking when high tide is, for me high tide is the best swim experience on Ventnor beach. Low tide you are wading through rocks a little bit, but don't let that put you off, you can still swim at low tide. I would just add a tiny feedback for the accommodation: guests would benefit from clear instructions where to find the outside bins. It would be helpful to have advice for future guests, something like: 'the door to the yard, where the outside bins are, may seem stiff and hard to open, do not worry it is not locked, just move the handle and give the door a good push'."

"Positives: Lovely place. We went as a family of five. It was deceptively spacious, the photos did not do the kitchen & living space justice, as we had an expectation that it would be a very small flat. It was very large and all the bedrooms had so much space. It goes without saying that the view was stunning, and the property had everything you needed. I was so happy to have access to the hoover to be able to clean up after my kids and put a wash load on before coming home.. much to my husband’s disapproval!! it was immaculately decorated and felt like a real home, rather than an empty soulless property. whilst Ventnor itself is a little rundown and outdated, where this property is located, you have some nice coffee shops & restaurants. We had dinner at all 4 of the restaurants, walking distance from home and were very pleased. Negatives: the main bedroom has a feather duvet, and it was so hot to sleep under. I would recommend bringing a thin double duvet if you come in the summer. I’m sure it’s lovely and cozy in the winter! The bunkbed mattresses were awful. It was like laying on a bed of springs, to the point where when I stripped the bed, the sheet was caught on one of the springs which was sticking out of the mattress! Would recommend replacing these. Very uncomfortable for anyone over the age of 3.Not a host issue but an app issue, VRBO has different check-in times. Host sent us the wrong key code,the old cleaner helped us access the key. "
