"We went to NYC to see shows and our hotel was in the epicenter of most theaters. It was awesome. The hotel staff was great, and the room fit 3 of us. We were half a block away from times square where the TKTS booth is located. One of the shows we saw was right next door to the theater, which was nice since it was cold and snowing."

"As a solo traveller, I booked a Single room at the Paramount Hotel going by photos alone. I later checked (as it was a rushed trip ) the reviews and saw some particularly negative reviews, but I am happy to say that, I personally had a very positive stay.. My only two quibbles, if you can call it that was the fact that 1, a previous guest had pulled the power cable for the TV. (Made no difference to me as i only used the room to sleep and bath. 2, the Plug for the sink was missing. (This is me having to search for something. Other than that, I have no complaints. Was it noisy from street traffic, yes..but thats to be expected for the city that never sleeps. I had difficulty one night then threw my ear buds in (always be prepared) On to the positives. 1, location. 2, the main enterance/bar is uniquely decorated and i loved it. With bright neon colour lights. Great seating and secure lifts. 3, staff were all friendly when spoken with. 4, my bed in room 617, sublime. I was so comfortable 5, city tax i think was 165 and a dollar for a security/ charge for the room. (Deposit) 6, clean and tidy. "

"I reserved city view and I was far from seeing “city” as looking out the window, we were surrounded by other buildings that you can see inside. Bathtub was rusted. And was not properly cleaned as there was hair. It is not soundproof as you can hear the people in the hall and the next room as if they were inside your room. All I can say is false advertisement. Lobby was beautiful but beyond that, not what I was expecting as 1 night was pricey. "
