"The staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was very good, but the property is very dated. The bathroom was awkward because the tub walls were very high. The hallways and rooms are furnished in dark, depressing colors. The AC unit was located directly above our bed and began to leak condensation on our final day."

"The common areas were very nice; well maintained and quite nice. My concern was with the room itself. There just seemed to be a lack of “care.” When we checked in there was a half-eaten bag of nuts on the bathroom counter and several of those nuts were scattered on the floor in the bedroom. We appreciated the large flat screen TV but where it was placed obscured artwork on the wall behind it - nothing terrible, but it just seemed to indicate a lack of attention. Lastly, it didn’t appear the exterior windows had been cleaned in years…."

"All staff very friendly and helpful. Only a short walk from Gloucester Road tube station. Room was excellent, comfy beds with lovely quality bed linen. Kitchenette was really handy and well appointed. We had a room at the rear which was really quiet and hard to believe you were in the centre of London and we had the window open at night. Overall excellent value for money and would definitely book there again."
