"This is an amazing place to stay in London - a home away from home our Club room had a kitchenette, lounge area, very well presented bathroom and separate bed area with plenty of cupboard space. The public areas were well designed and comfortable and the restaurant provided a range of options. A short walk to Gloucester Road Tube Station and local shops makes for a very comfortable base when in London while away from the busyness. Easy walk to Harrods, the Victoria & Albert Museum and Kensington Place & Gardens or simply hop on a train. When we arrived my husband was quite ill and staff quickly assisted me to organise a doctor."

"The room is very small but had a window (opened(!) a crack) and overlooked the park across the street. I stayed in The Roost which was a perfect size for me; a solo traveller. The front desk staff was helpful upon check-in and assisted with the “keyless” entry. Please be aware that seniors need a little extra time to process the technology! The television in the room was welcome and there is a safe…no fridge…but a coffee machine and real milk in small packets. Close to the subway it was a safe home away from home. Thank you to the young woman who greeted me every morning!"

"Great experience. Its a smaller Hotel, but lacks nothing. Wonderful rooms, helpful and friendly staff, great location with South Kensington Tube station within 2 minutes reach. V&A, Natural History museum, science museum, Hyde Park are all nearby. We really enjoyedthe Ampersam. Thank you!"

"Breakfast was fine-be aware that they provide boiled eggs and cold cuts. The pastries are freshly baked. Good selection of cold cereals, breads, etc. Nice start to the day! Breakfast staff are friendly. Suite was very nice with well stocked kitchenette, two nice tv’s. Also had a washing machine. I had booked a ground level suite which is not the first floor-it is the lower level (stairs/elevator)"

"This hotel is alongside a railway line. If you are happy being woken at 05.30hrs and listening to trains rumble past then you will be delighted with your stay. The shower was tepid. Staff were polite, friendly and correct at all times. Please note that the word “travellers” features 2xL"
