"The hotel was very central to many transport hubs, eateries, tourist attractions and shopping areas. We were able to do much of what we wanted in close proximity to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. There was a good selection of tasty offerings at breakfast and the staff very helpful."

"I’ve stayed at The Strand twice now and loved my experience both times. It’s an affordable upscale hotel in a great central location. Many main attractions are within walking distance. For those that aren’t, there are several tube stations nearby to get you where you need to go. I’ve stayed both as a solo traveler and with family. It’s a perfect stay for both. The Haxell breakfast was great. In the evening, Matt behind the bar made the best cocktails. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel was really lovely, and the hotel staff were really nice, and the breakfast was really nice, and the room was clean, but the only concern was that sometimes the pool was not well maintained, and also the air con was malfunctioning, and also I would advise looking for nearby activities if you are staying there"

"I missed my flight to London so I was a day late checking in to our room. I called the hotel as soon as I realized I could not get to London in time. When I arrived the next day the clerk could not find my reservation then said I was a no show. When she finally found my reservation she could not find my breakfast payment. I’m not sure if it was incompetence or a software problem. I n the end I got my room."
