"The Owner was very obliging, as due to CHC being booked out & a midnight flight arrival, we knew if would be a 3am arrival. He kindly left the unit unlocked for us. While the place is showing it's age & use, it was clean & tidy, the shower was great, the sheets were clean & the beds comfy. We slept well. Would I use Larchwood Motels again? Without hesitation. It's value for money indeed. I have to say, I enjoyed teh chat with the owner teh next morning. A cheerful & kind man."

"We loved the location as it was close to my husbands parents and plenty of shops and restaurants are close by. The space was great, as was having a washing machine and dryer as we were on a 3- stop holiday. We would suggest perhaps fitting darker curtains or blinds on the windows at the front of the property as the location is quite light even late in the evening. Otherwise lots of great facilities. "The apartment is just as described- except … no words can describe the comfort of a home. Walking in and at first look, we immediately felt at home. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The amenities are thoughtful and helpful: coffee, laundry, milk, snacks, and toiletries. The TV, while not used but once, was a welcomed respite from our exhausting day of fun in Wellington.
