"After hours check in was simple and communicated well. They need to have the reservation and know you will be after 9:00, so let them know by 8:00 if possible. Room was quite clean and the beds were acceptable. Noise wasn't bad after the last truck left town and since we were on the last ferry to arrive in Picton. Will stay again"

"Room was clean. Hotel was clean. Had a delicious restaurant. Restaurant staff were so friendly when I had an opportunity to interact with them. Check in/our was easy. Gave me recommendations for food etc. About 15 mins walk from the main center but an easy walk. Evenings are a bit quieter so if you don't like that then stay closer. I was a female solo traveler and I had no issues walking into town for dinner/errands/breakfast. By a beautiful river and park. Loved this area ! "

"Had a lovely stay, great location, a 9 minute walk to the ferry terminal, 10 minute to the boat trip, 5 minutes from the shops. Friendly reception staff, clean and spacious room for my two night stay. The pool was a great addition and went well with the perfect weather. "

"Gorgeous setting and amazing host. The cottage was clean and tidy with everything we needed thoughtfully supplied. The resident weka and oystercatchers kept a close eye on us. There were plenty of fish, and we saw rays and orca too. Waking up to the birdsong and going to sleep to the sound of the waves just outside the window made this a perfect spot for relaxing and recharging. "
