"Nelson City Centre on the River is a splendid bach accommodation. There's lots of room for a large family or two families on holiday together. The bach is very comfortable, with all the amenities one would want to have in a holiday home. And the location is fabulous. The river walk is just outside the front door, and the city centre is a short walk away. We highly recommend this accommodation."

"We loved the outdoor space, location near the Queen Charlotte Track and the snooker table! It was our first time playing snooker. There is room to spread out, but the bedrooms were tight. Unfortunately, there were no outlets in the bathroom. Not a big thing, but something we noticed and were aware of. We appreciated that they were environmentally aware and made it easy for us to participate. We would return in a heartbeat!"

"The house was large and roomy and very welcoming. The 3 bedrooms were a good size with a nice hair in each room. The lounge had ample room for all of us and the table accommodated us. Beds were comfortable, showers great, plenty of hot water for 6 adults. Location was great, right in the city. Would have liked a dryer but that’s our only ‘wish’. We really liked this house."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nelson at Alan’s property. Communication with Alan was a breeze along with check-in and check-out. The house was as advertised, well stocked and clean. The location was amazing, as you could be walking along the Maitai, wandering the Queen’s Gardens or brunching downtown in a matter of minutes. We will definitely be booking Alan’s property on our next visit."

"Nelson is a wonderful community, and this property is ideally located -- close to downtown, grocery stores, and nearby hiking. Shared bike/ped paths were also nearby for quick access. The unit has a couple of bicycles, and we used these as our primary in-town transportation. The kitchen is well equipped with a good complement of appliances. The garden is a quiet haven with lots of flowers, herbs, and fruit trees. This place is a great find!"

"The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. It requires a little bit of off grid savvy but nothing even this 60 year old New Yorker couldn’t learn in seconds. The view is absolutely stunning, the house is quite comfortable. "The view from this house is terrific--high on a hill looking over other hills and down to the sea. And you have the hills view from the hot tub as well. The house is quite spacious and we found it to be quite well equipped as well. "This was our family’s first trip to NZ and we enjoyed every single moment spending it in Nelson. This home was in a perfect location. close distance to downtown, groceries and Center of New Zealand Hike. It was so comfortable for our group to stay. If I was to make a suggestion it would be to spruce up the yard space and deck for outdoor activities. We will definitely recommend it and hope to be back someday soon."

"Everything you could need for a long or short stay. Great veranda to enjoy the morning coffee from (or any time of day). If your tall, you need to watch the height of a couple of the doorways at night. Would definitely stay again."
