    Located high on a ridgeline in Mapua enjoying stunning views out over the Tasman Bay yet just 5 minutes drive to Mapua village.
    Perfectly positioned to explore the upper South Island beaches, rivers and lakes and our world famous Abel Tasman Track just 30mins away.
    Our guest studio is private, well separated from the main home's living areas. It is light and bright, offering a very comfortable, deep mattress queen size bed, and quality bed linen and has under floor heating on in the cooler months.
    Also has a stylish en-suite, with underfloor heating and heated towel rail for cosy toes and towels in the cooler months.

    A complimentary "welcome" breakfast is included in your stay sufficient to last a couple over one to two days.

    Complimentary modern e-bikes for exploring our beautiful area.
    Just confirm with us prior to your arrival.

    Privately positioned, the studio opens to a private garden area with its own beautiful views.
    Guests have their own entry and carpark, an allocated carpark a short stroll away.
    A toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee perk, bench top cook plates,full oven and mini fridge are provided for your convenience, along with crockery, cutlery, sandwich maker, and pots and pans.
    A two seater couch, dining table and breakfast bar with stools are available for dining options.
    There is a HD Smartview TV with Netflix also cards or board games in the evening.
    There is an outdoor table setting for dining out around the bbq, or you may prefer to sit at the breakfast bar with windows opened wide, and enjoy a wine under the stars with a stunning nightscape of the Nelson port and hills.
    Simply gorgeous on a clear night as we are well away from city lights and the starlit skies are wonderful.

    PLEASE NOTE A bench top oven can be made available for longer term guests upon request.

We found this place so charming! The decor makes it feel homely. Books to read, coffee to drink, views that steal so much of your time.It was winter time when we stayed and the underfloor heating made it very cosy.This studio plus bathroom deserves everybody’s praise. Thank you Kath and Jamie.

Location with a great view

Fantastic location in a beautiful setting. This place is close to the warf, shops and other things to do. The breakfast basket was so much more than food two days. Kathy and Jamie are very hospitable hosts and care for their guests.

Amazing stay in Motuere

On our New Zealand trip we stayed for 3 nights at Vista Bay View B&B and we loved it. It's a stylish apartement with a gorgeous view. Kathy and her husband were so friendly and hospital. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Great spot!

We stayed at La Bella Vista for a couple of nights while we explored the area. Great location close to some great restaurants and sights - including Abel Tasman. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was spotless. We enjoyed sitting outside and soaking in the great view. Also loved the continental breakfast!Cathy was a great host and kept us in the loop before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again when we are back through.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great breakfast that lasts for at least 2 days. Everything you need for a great stay. Great hosts. Only thing that could be improved is the size of the fridge which is very very small. Would go again.

Mini Break in Mapua.

So pleased we chose to stay here. Everything surpassed our expectations. Kathy is a lovely host. She checked in with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable. The view is amazing, the studio is put together with style, the bed is cozy, a yummy is breakfast supplied. We would have loved to have stayed longer.
