"The hotel is in a great spot, far enough away from Lucca to feel you're in the countryside, but still easy to get into town. There's a lovely Bar-Pasticceria a short walk away, and you can go for quite long walk in the grounds then up into the hills. Breakfast was very good. And the staff were helpful. They do have events at the hotel, but the rooms have good sound insulation, so I still slept very well."

"Highly recommend this hotel. From coming in through the door, where we received a lovely welcome, right through to leaving, the staff were friendly, helpful and just wanted to do their best for you. Our accessible room was great, on the ground floor near the bar/dining room and had a lovely wet room. The hotel is ideal walking distance to the town. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and we couldn't use the outdoor terrace - it looked lovely though, Lots of selection for breakfast. The hotel organised a taxi for us to take us to Pisa airport with a stop at the Leaning Tower - really great service and lovely driver. Highly recommend"

"A very easy place to stay in Lucca that is 20 seconds from the train station. All of the hotels and rentals in the old walls are not that quick or easy to get to, and driving within the walls is practically impossible so even taxis can’t always get you there. A good breakfast with options, and very friendly staff throughout. Great value for the money. "

"Massimo’s house is beautifully situated up in the hills of Lucca. The house is clean, well equipped, and absolutely charming. Massimo was an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed and very helpful with so many great recommendations for spots to visit. We had the most amazing time and would highly recommend staying here! The place is a dream! "

"A well located hotel, just outside the city walls, close to the train station but quiet despite being on a main road.Parking is available. The inclusive spa is a lovely treat, especially if you book this for your arrival day, after travelling in. All staff are customer focussed, helpful, polite and pleasant. Breakfast is very good, plenty to choose from with healthy options and sweet treats. The fish restaurant next door was really nice and had a good choice of meals and wines. Our room (65) was well equipped and a decent size, as was the bathroom but the small shower cubicle was a disappointment given the overall size of the bathroom."
