"We booked hotel Rex last minute so we could just wake up and hop on the train in Lucca. It had everything we needed but no extras. I would only spend one night here. Breakfast was extremely basic and needed to get better coffee at the cafe across the street. But over all room was clean and quiet."

Only complaint would be the noisy air conditioning unit in the room. Had to turn it off but lead to a sleepless night due to heat in room. Tried opening windows but didn't cool room down. Only stayed 2 nights so don't complain about it. Hotel was full"
