"The hotel was understaffed which made service slow. When we went to the pool, there was no one there to give us towels in three separate occasions and we had to track someone down to get us some. The room was ok, but the beds were only doubles instead of queen sized which made sleeping less comfortable. However, one of the doorman named Giovanni went out of his way to accommodate us. He changed some big bills into smaller bills for us so we had money for tips, he found us an excellent driver to take us to Guatape and when we checked out, he signed us out of netflix (we couldn't figure it out because it was all in spanish) and took a video to show it was done. This man was exceptional and made out stay much more comfortable. "
"We have found the location in the Provenza area of la poblado to be very convenient. It is on a more quiet street right off the main street. There are tons of restaurants. pharmacies and just bought anything you could want right in our neighborhood.The hotel looks like it has been recently remodeled, and is sparkling clean with a hip sheen. Our room was very nicely appointed, but it is a little small. There was no place to put our suitcases, so we’ve put them on the floor. The bed is very comfortable. And there is a nice large TV. The shower has great water pressure, and two heads. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast of avocado toast for us was delicious. We took advantage of the massage, which both of us enjoyed. There is a rooftop bar and swimming pool, which we have not taken advantage of yet."

Especially my waiter David, at breakfast, made everything worthwhile. seeing his amazing smile every morning brought an extra warmth to breakfast.
