We inquired about directions to the Hakone doorway, but instead your staff personally drove us there! Your hospitality is above and beyond! We will definitely visit again! The onsen with the spectacular view is a sight to behold. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Next time we will stayed much longer! "

"Just a two night stay in a fantastic historic hotel."

"A beautiful properly. We had a room with an onsen on our deck, it was supposed to have a lakeview but trees are all grown in and blocking. This place feels remote but there is a bus stop station close and the pirate ship/ cable cars. No stores or restaurants close by but we really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets."

"Great ryokan experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The food was phenomenal. We stayed for two nights and they had a different menu each day. The service was exemplary. We brought our 4 month old baby boy and they went out of the way to accommodate us. They put us in a slightly more secluded room and dining section so we didn’t need to feel bad when he cried. They set up a little bed for him at dinner time. "
