Got there a bit later than expected but my time there was nice the breakfast preparation was super nice and option to rent a bike for a whole day and little souvenir shops around with good food places made me wish I had gotten there sooner, def would go back to hopefully see the mountains better since it rained bad when I went.
Clean and affordable. Kids loved the lofted bed and having a small private bathroom. The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood, but a very quick 3 min walk to Oishi Park and the lake. The parking lot was actually at the Oishi Park and we liked seeing the park before and after the crowds. It felt easy to park with the lot attendants.
One of the best hostels I've stayed in, it's like a home away from home. Everything is spic and span and guests can make their own food and use the facilities like they would if they were in their own home. They also cook food and provide breakfast if you ask for it. Staying in a pod was a unique experience. The proximity to Oishi park is a huge advantage. This was the first time I stayed in a pod and the experience was surprisingly good and comfortable.
Appreciated the spacious private room option at this hostel. We arrived late and with language barrier it took a bit to locate parking area at night. Also not many restaurants near here open late so plan ahead. The staff and accommodations were fabulous. We would definitely stay again to further explore the breathtaking Lake Kawaguchi/Fujikawaguchiko area!
Good room for the price. Has all amenities needed with the exception of a fridge. Washroom did have a bit of a mold smell and the top bunk of our bed smelled like sweat and feet. Asides from that, we enjoyed our one day stay here.
Lake fujikawuchiko is beautiful but the local buses stop running really early so its limited what you can do. Unless you pay for private transport. Everything and i mean everything closes early
This place is amazing. Our room was very spacious and modern with a nice view to the mountains. We have a private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and they also have a dinner menu that we tried and were satisfied with the price and food quality. The staff is really friendly and the location super convenient, only 250 meters away from the bus station and the magnificent Oishi Park across street from the bus stop. We are glad we picked Dot Hostel for our stay close to Mount Fuji.
Very clean and comfortable hostel, we booked for a family of 4, room had 4 huge bunk beds, with large table, a sofa and 2 chairs. Extremely comfortable. Washing machine and dryer available as well. You need to inform the hostel 3 days in advance if you want to have breakfast or bbq.
Parking is about 5 mins walk away, it is pretty dark when you walk back to the hostel from the parking lot. You'll definitely need a car to travel around the area. Oishi park is just across the street. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Room was a nice size very close to Oishi park which was nice. Lots of bikes to rent. Only don’t side is no fridge in rooms and bathroom had a strange smell the entire time we stayed even after running the fan nonstop .
