"We stayed for 2 nights. Needed a dog friendly hotel and this ticked all the boxes. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Waking up to half a dozen deer on the lawn was lovely. The family room was fantastic, the bathroom was very clean and looked newly renovated. The food is as all the reviews state. We enjoyed every single meal. We are already looking at booking another stay."

"The stay was lovely, create location from the train station and Kendal for the festival. Communication was great with the hosts who were helpful and accommodating when we cancelled one night.
