"Perfect! Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean, wonderful and gracious hosts, adorable farm animals, beautiful landscaping!! Nearby Mt Airy is a great place to spend the day…Andy Griffith Museum, Gertrude Smith House, so many unique shops, great local eating establishments. Make sure to check out Kim’s unique metal art sold at Mayberry Antiques!!!! Go hiking at Hanging Rock State Park and check out the five waterfalls. Can’t wait to return! "We were heading to North Myrtle Beach for a month and decided to make a 2-day stop in our favorite little town of Mayberry. I found the Bradley Cottage on line and booked it for two days. We were so happy with the location (right around the corner from the Courthouse, Goober’s Garage) and a short walk to the heart of town to shop and have our milkshake at Walkers. The house was well stocked, clean and cozy. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Had been many years since we had been there. Sparta is a special little town and Allegheny inn is no exception.quaint little motels and inns suit us well and this one is the best! Very clean and great service. Friendly staff and convenient to town... Or the surround natural areas for hiking or canoeing the New river. Love the town events as well. Pie eating contest day is coming up. What a hoot! Can't find that in the big tourist spots I'll bet! "
