"Great views from the room. Beds comfortable. The room was pretty clean there was some hair in the bathroom but other than that was good. Staff was super helpful and friendly."

"The hotel is dated, the bathrooms are tiny. But it’s very central and the room itself was large. If you book on hotels.com your view is the alleys or other building roofs and chillers. That seems to be the same at most hotels I book thru this app. The breakfast at swamp fox restaurant was awful. The eggs were liquid eggs and the grits were lumpy and dry, the rest was mediocre."

"Hotel Bennett is unbelievable. It had been awhile since we had stayed here and I thought things might show some wear. I was wrong. Everything was fresh and absolutely awesome. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. When you stay at a luxury hotel, you expect this kind of environment. You rarely do today but the Bennett delivers."

"The staff was what made this place. If you are looking for a newly refurbished, perfect hotel - this isn’t it but it was very clean. They have a wonderful breakfast every morning - you can order your own omelette- and a happy hour every evening - two free drink tickets each night. But the best part by far is the staff. Helpful, efficient, friendly. I cannot say enough about them. Just incredible people working their tails off - and with a smile. Loved our stay here. Oh and, it used to be the Citadel and they have kept that vibe alive."
