"I had a very frustrating experience during check-in.I had booked an Ocean View room. Upon arrival, the front desk staff told me that the room was not ready yet because they were still preparing it, and asked me to wait. I waited for about 30 minutes and checked again, but was told it was still not ready. After waiting for over an hour in total, I asked again, and only then was I informed that the room was actually undergoing maintenance.This was clearly inconsistent with what I had been told earlier. It felt misleading and unprofessional.After waiting even longer, I asked for an estimated time as we were very tired and just wanted to check in. I was then told it would take another 1–2 hours. At this point, I felt the staff had not been transparent and had failed to provide a reasonable solution.Eventually, after expressing our dissatisfaction, another staff member arranged a different room for us. However, it was significantly below the standard we had paid for—it was on a lower floor and very noisy, not comparable to the Ocean View room we had booked. We had no choice but to stay there for the night.The next day, we were told we could move to the correct room. However, even then, the information provided by staff was inconsistent. One person told us we could come at any time, but when we arrived in the early morning, we were told to return at 8 AM. When we came back at 8 AM, we were then told to wait until 11 AM.Overall, this experience reflects very poor communication"
